Are Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid back together? The two spark rumours on Instagram

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid were easily one of the most loved up celeb couples and when news of their separation broke, we were pretty disappointed.

Now, the couple seems to be rekindling their romance, according to some fans who did some digging on Instagram. A Christmas miracle of sorts? We're convinced!

Over the holiday weekend, Gigi posted a photo of herself cooking up a storm, and lo and behold, who did she thank for her Chicken Curry Pasta Salad? Zayn Malik's mom, Trisha Malik.

The model posted a snap to her Instagram story with the caption, “Sunday in the kitchen: about to marinate the chicken for one of my favorites! @mammamalik’s Chicken Curry Pasta Salad.”

Not to mention, but @mammamalik is Zayn Malik's mom's Instagram handle, where she regularly posts pictures of her children and her cooking.

This isn't the first time that Gigi and Trisha have interacted on the photo-sharing app - roughly four weeks ago, Trisha posted a photo of her late father and Gigi left a heart emoji on the post for her former (?) flame's mother.

Gigi was linked to Tyler Cameron recently, however, the two have reportedly parted ways. On the other hand, Zayn has remained on the down-low, romantically, since splitting with Gigi almost a year ago. The two share a complicated history as it is, and this just adds on to it.

Naturally, Zigi - Zayn+Gigi for anyone living under a rock - fans are having a ball of a time with this news and many are already fully convinced of the blossoming romance.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.
