Meeting held to review construction companies’ issues

Punjab chief secretary says timely completion of private construction projects would promote economic activities

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Secretary Azam Suleman Khan directed all commissioners to resolve issues of construction companies so that they could be able to complete their projects timely. He issued the direction while presiding over a meeting to review issues related to construction and fuel companies and citizens’ problems regarding the Revenue department on Monday.

The meeting was attended by Board of Revenue senior member, Lahore commissioner, Lahore deputy commissioner, whereas, commissioners of other divisions joined the meeting through video conference.

The chief secretary added that timely completion of these private construction projects would promote economic activities in the province. Directing the officers to ensure the issuance of NOC for new petrol pumps within seven days, he stated that the instruction was the part of the government’s vision to facilitate business in the province.
