KARACHI:
Frere police registered on Saturday a case for an alleged attack on a property dealer by four men.

In his statement to the police, Naveed Gul said that he had observed two men wearing helmets chasing him on a motorcycle multiple times over the last week. He added that someone had also thrown a note into his house, after which he submitted a complaint at the police station. Gul claimed that on Friday, he was returning home after shopping for groceries with his wife and children when four unidentified men riding two motorcycles blocked his car from both sides on Adam Khan Road. He narrated that two of the armed men tried to open the locked door on the driver’s side and then broke the window with the gun. The other man opened fire at Gul but the bullet missed, he said, adding that the men threatened him with grave consequences and fled when other cars drove by.

Claiming that he had been attacked with the intention of murder and his car damaged, Gul demanded legal action against the assailants. The case has been registered against four unidentified men under sections 324 and 427 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
