Man tortured for ‘not stealing’ chemicals
Tanker owners abducted him from his relative’s house, took him to some undisclosed location and tortured him

A truck driver was subjected to torture for not stealing chemical from the container for influential people.
The driver kept screaming and begging, as per the sources. The driver, named Farooq Azam, was employed as a driver with Shahid Khan and Sajjad Khan for Rs15,000 per month near GT Road Ittehad Chemical. The tanker owners allegedly used to force him to steal the chemical.
On his refusal, the owners abducted him from his relative’s house and took him to some undisclosed location, stripped him and continued to torture him while pressurising him to steal chemical for them. On his refusal, the culprits named Shahid Khan, Sajjad Khan, Adnan Butt Javed, and Tariq ensured his arrest by Ferozwala police station. They also continued to torture him in a locker and freed him when he agreed to work for them. Azam reported the incident in factory area’s police station, who registered FIR against the accused and started the legal proceedings.
