New programme: 2-year degree to offer a number of specialisations

Programme designed in consultation with HEC.

ISLAMABAD:

The Department of Commerce at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is going to offer an Associate Degree in Commerce with specialisation in Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, IT Management, Hospital Management, Hotel Management and Tourism Management. This was said by Prof. Dr Abdul Hafeez, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at AIOU on Sunday.

He said that the programme has been designed in consultation with HEC and has been developed for students who cannot join a four years programme due to specific constraints.
