IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah administered the oath to Lubna Pervez Saleem, Fayyaz Jandram and Ghulam Azam Qambar.
Senior lawyers and other dignitaries attended the oath-taking ceremony.
The three judges have been appointed as additional judges for a period of one year.
Pervez is the first woman to work as judge in IHC. She was earlier working as Deputy Attorney General Karachi at the Sindh High Court.
Jandram has served as the vice-chairman of Islamabad Bar Council, while Qambrani has remained a member of the executive committee of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
According to the IHC Act 2010, the total seats for the judges are seven. However, only four judges were on seat owing to which, the number of pending cases was escalating with time.
