Google's Year in Search is out and reveals some pretty interesting information about what has been trending in 2019. Notably, it's been a year of high-profile weddings for a myriad of A-listers who have either tied the knot away from the public eye or bedazzled the internet with extravagant festivities.

From singer Miley Cyrus and Australian heartthrob Liam Hemsworth tying the knot and parting ways in the same year to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner making us wait so long before revealing her gorgeous gown when marrying Joe Jonas, there has been plenty of nuptial excitement for the last year of the decade.

Let's take a look at which weddings were trending the most, according to Google Trends.

The American country singer surprised all of her fans when she revealed she was not only in a relationship but also secretly married Brendan McLoughlin. Like the makings of an epic love song, the 35-year-old shared in an Instagram post, "In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me."

The Hunger Games star was spotted in a gorgeous Dior gown in October after sources confirmed that the actor is indeed, marrying Cooke Maroney, an art dealer. The star-studded wedding was kept relatively private, but included guests such as Kris Jenner and Ashley Olsen. According to People, the 29-year-old's dress was so shrouded in secrecy it was kept in its own hotel room the night before the wedding, where it was protected by "the whole design team" from Dior.

Hearts broke everywhere when fans realised that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez won't get back together when the Baby star married model Hailey Baldwin. Mrs. Bieber's custom Virgin Abloh gown went viral as her several-feet long veil spelled out the letters 'Till Death Do Us Part.' It was the second time the pair got hitched after their first private civil ceremony in New York last year.

After their on-off relationship over the past 10 years, the Wrecking Ball singer married Hemsworth in a secret wedding. Cyrus opted for a Vivienne Westwood off-the-shoulder silk gown for her big day. The couple then shocked the internet when the actor announced he was filing for divorce in August due to "irreconcilable differences."
