This was disclosed during a meeting chaired by K-P senior minister Atif Khan and attended by the commissioners, deputy commissioners of all newly-merged tribal districts (NMTDs) along with Tourism Secretary Kamran Rehman.
Providing a breakup of the development funds, it was told that Rs8 billion were allocated for sports, Rs2 billion for culture, Rs3 billion for youth employment, and the rest for development schemes in the newly-merged districts of the province.
The department directed to identify places for setting up sports complexes at the district and tehsil levels in the merged districts.
