It was reported that the legendary singer was rushed to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after she complained of breathing issues. Later on, she was diagnosed with pneumonia, reported Pinkvilla.
But now, as per the updates, Mangeshkar has finally been discharged from the hospital. She herself confirmed the news over social media, stating that she is back home now after spending 28 days in the hospital.
She also revealed that while she was indeed undergoing treatment for pneumonia, she had extended her stay in the hospital to recover completely.

Furthermore, Mangeshkar expressed her gratitude towards her fans for showering her with unconditional love and praying for her wellbeing. “Your prayers and good wishes have worked and I humbly bow down to each one of you. Your endless love and blessings are precious,” she wrote.
The veteran musician also thanked the doctors who treated her and called them her guardian angels. “A special thank you, again, to the team of doctors who treated me with utmost care and love. My doctors at Breach Candy have been my guardian angels and I stand in eternal gratitude to each one of them. The nursing staff has been exceptional,” Mangeshkar wrote.
