Police Complaint: Woman seeks protection from spouse

THUL: A woman, on arrival at the Bahoo Khoso police station on Saturday, claimed that her husband wanted to killed her on the pretext of karo kari. Reportedly, 25-year-old Sahib Khatoon from the Saeed Sundrani village asked the police to protect her from her husband, Noor Mohammad Sundrani. “My husband tortures me everyday for one reason or another,” she said. “On Saturday he took out a gun and wanted to kill me but I managed to escape.” The SHO claims that he has asked Sundrani to resolve the matter with his wife. “If he is not willing resolve the matter then we will have to present them in court on Monday,” he said.
