One dead, six injured in Lahore explosion

At least one person was killed while six others injured in an explosion in Lahore’s Township area on Saturday.

A police official said that as per the initial investigation, the blast took place at an electronics shop when a technician was fixing an air conditioner kit.

The deceased was identified as Hafiz Muhammad, 22, an AC mechanic.

The area was cordoned off, rescue teams and law enforcement agencies reached the incident site, and shifted the injured to Jinnah Hospital.
