Zahida Parveen promoted as federal information secretary

Moves comes after bureaucratic reshuffle in Punjab and Islamabad

The federal government has promoted Zahida Parveen of the Information Group to Grade 22, appointing her as federal secretary information and broadcasting with immediate effect.

A notification in this regard was issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division on Friday.

Earlier, Parveen was a Grade 21 officer serving as additional secretary information and broadcasting.

In a bureaucratic reshuffle at the federal level, the government had issued orders for the appointment, promotion and transfer of 44 officers in Islamabad and 90 officers in Punjab.
