Qureshi thanks Malaysia for supporting Pakistan on Kashmir issue
FM stresses importance of averting risks to peace, security arising from India’s August 5 move
Malaysian Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Wira Haji Marzuki bin Haji Yahya called on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday and discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interests.
The foreign minister apprised the Malaysian deputy foreign minister about the blatant human rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Qureshi lauded the stance of Malaysia against Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir. He said: “We are thankful to Malaysia for fully supporting Pakistan’s stance on Jammu and Kashmir dispute.”
The foreign minister also briefed the Malaysian diplomat on the Indian government’s aggressive posturing after its illegal and unilateral actions to change the internationally recognised disputed status of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and alter its demographic structure.

The Malaysian deputy foreign minister apprised Qureshi about the upcoming Kuala Lumpur conference, scheduled to take place on December 18-20.
The foreign minister conveyed that Pakistan supported the objectives of the KL summit and would work closely with Malaysia for its successful conclusion.
On bilateral relations, both sides appreciated the recent high level exchange of visits and reaffirmed the shared commitment to upgrade Pakistan-Malaysia relations in all dimensions.
