Only describing the ‘Seerah’ (personality) of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is not enough, Muslims must also act on it and tell the world through their actions that they are His followers. This was stated by Mufti Syed Adnan Kakakhel and Quran Academy Director Shujauddin Shaikh as they spoke during Seeratun Nabi (PBUH) Conference at the National University Of Modern Languages (NUML) on Thursday. The conference had been organised by the Arabic Language Department of the university. The varsity’s Director-General Brig Muhammad Ibrahim, Languages Dean Dr Safeer Awan, heads of departments, guests, faculty members and a large number of students attended the conference. The speakers highlighted key aspects of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Seerat and stressed the need for new research studies on different aspects of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) life and measuring the possibilities of adopting aspects of it in their lives. NUML Director General Brig Muhammad Ibrahim thanked both the guests. He also presented a cheque of Rs2,500 to each student who recited passages from the Holy Quran and read naat.  Published in The Express Tribune, November 29th, 2019.
