QUETTA: A delegation of at least 34 international Chinese companies on Thursday met members of Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industries (QCCI) in Karachi and discussed matters related to trade and business activities in the province.

“We seek to work with Balochistan’s business community hence direct contact between the Chinese companies and QCCI members should be fostered,” members of the delegation stressed.

The QCCI delegation led by senior vice-president Badaruddin Kakar, Abdul Wahid Barrech, Syed Sarwar Agha and other members was invited to Karachi by the Chinese ambassador.

“The mineral-rich province offers unique business opportunities for foreign companies,” said QCCI’s Badaruddin Kakar as he invited the Chinese officials to Balochistan.
