At least 68 applicants appeared in the driving tests out of which 59 succeeded in receiving their licences while 9 others failed as they couldn’t follow highway signs and safety standards.
“The RTA has been examining the driving tests in order to ensure road safety, while mental and emergency response tests were also conducted,” said Kakar, adding that the drivers should be more cautious and responsible while driving on the highways.
She added that recklessness can become perilous hence the drivers should be physically and mentally fit.
