QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Mir Zia Langove said reforms in police are underway in the province which would enhance public trust on the police.

He shared these views while meeting various delegations at his office, pledging to bring reforms in police and ‘Thana’ culture across Balochistan. “Without good relations between the public and police, crime ratio cannot decline completely.

Police should treat people with respect and love,” Langove said. He lamented over police attitude with poor applicants in the previous regimes and added that the incumbent government is taking all measures to restore public trust on the force.
