RWMC conducts awareness campaign

The teams insisted the people keep their houses and workplaces dry and clean

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) on Monday conducted an awareness campaign under the Clean and Green Punjab project.

Communication teams of RWMC and the sanitation contractor Albaryak set up a camp in Union Council (UC) 82 Morgah to create awareness amongst residents about the importance of cleanliness. RWMC officials further said that teams also conducted a door-to-door campaign and distributed waste bags along with pamphlets.

The teams insisted the people keep their houses and workplaces dry and clean to avoid breeding and growth of dengue larvae.

The teams also informed about company's the helpline which should be used for registration of any type of complaint. The official said that the RWMC was committed to keeping the city clean and green.
