New administration: Awami Tehreek proposes vote

KARACHI:

The government should hold a referendum on the local body system and the commissionerate system to know what the people want, urged the president of the Sindh chapter of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr SM Zameer, at a press conference at the press club on Friday. He claimed that the new system would “create more conflict between rural and urban populations.”

“The Pakhtuns and Urdu-speaking people were living happily with each other but someone is making them fight,” Zameer said.
