MULTAN: The irrigation department will spend Rs3.246 billion on 11 uplift schemes which have been approved in the Annual Development Programme (ADP).

Irrigation department officials said that the schemes include construction of a residential building in Canal Colony, Sahiwal, construction of guide spur near Ameerpur, construction of J-Head spur in Fazil Shah, side protection of Jandraka Disty, rehabilitation and upgradation of Lower Bari Doab Canal system, rehabilitation of Sidhnai Canal, Khanewal, rehabilitation of Trimmu-Sidhnai link canal system and others.
