A two-member bench, headed by the Election Commission of Pakistan Punjab Member Altaf Ibrahim Qureshi, heard the matter regarding the statements of PTI's Farooq Malik, Aftab Hussain Siddiqi and Alia Hamza.
A member of the ECP scrutiny committee informed the bench that Farooq Malik had removed the contradictions in his statement. Hence the bench disposed of the case against the PTI lawmaker.
The lawyer for Siddiqi informed the bench that his client had submitted his reply to the scrutiny committee.
The committee member informed the bench that some contradictions still remain. The bench ordered the lawyer to remove the remaining contradictions. The third lawmaker, Alia Hamza submitted her reply to the Election Commission.
The bench adjourned the hearing until November 26.
