Bollywood celebrities party it up with Katy Perry

The singer received a warm welcome by Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Aishwarya Rai and others

American singer Katy Perry was greeted with a huge party in her name, organised by Bollywood's very own filmmaker, Karan Johar.  Held on Thursday at his at his residence, the party saw Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandez, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kajol, Malaika Arora, Ananya Panday, Kunal Kemmu and many others in attendance.




 Several photos and videos from Karan’s house were shared on social media. According to The Indian Express, one of the videos shows Alia and Karan in a conversation with Katy. The Pati Patni Aur Woh actor Ananya Panday shared a photo with the American singer and captioned it “hot and hot” while Kajol posted a video with Karan which showed them having a great time.

Being Katy Perry’s third visit to India, the star landed for the One Plus Music Festival scheduled for November 16 at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

Addressing the media the day she landed in India, Katy shared how she is going to explore Mumbai this time. She said, “I am excited to watch some of the other people performing. I am totally excited to immerse myself in the culture this week in Mumbai. I don’t stay in my room and order room service. I go out and seek the world. I love people, culture and traditions. You are going to catch me on these streets.”
