‘I Dance First’: Youth shot during wedding ceremony

a quarrel started between the groom’s brother and one Pappu, over who would dance first.

SARGODHA: A youth was killed over a petty issue during a marriage ceremony on Thursday. Police said that a quarrel at Mumtaz Hussain’s wedding at Laksian Town started between the groom’s brother, Sarfraz Hussain, and one Pappu, over who would dance first. The quarrel escalated and Sarfaraz took out a pistol and shot Pappu, who died on the spot. Panic spread at the event as guests rushed out. The police was informed and they have registered an FIR against Sarfaraz, who fled the scene.
