Neelum-jhelum: Hydro-electric project in full swing

Finances amounting to $2.16 billion have been arranged for completion of the project, located in Muzaffarabad district

Neelum-jhelum: Hydro-electric project in full swing
MIRPUR (AJK): Construction work on all the sites of AJK-based 969 MW Neelum-Jhelum hydro-electric project including intake and power house is in full swing, official sources said on Thursday. Finances amounting to $2.16 billion have been arranged for completion of the project, located in Muzaffarabad district. The Water and Power Development Authority is actively considering the use of state of the art tunnel machine for completion of the Neelum-Jhelum project at the earliest.
