QUETTA: Provincial Minister Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dummar has said that the Balochistan government is taking steps to promote all sectors of the province.

The minister declared that the agriculture sector would further develop in the province after the provision of 1,000 tractors to the farmers under the Green Tractors Scheme.

Dummar expressed these views, while talking to a delegation of Harnai, Ziarat and Sanjavi landlords, tribal elders and party workers the other day in the provincial capital.

He said that the government was endeavouring to solve the problems of the people.

“Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Jam Kamal Khan Alyani, people are reaping the fruits of success. Real change has begun and special focus is being given to health and education for which work is being done on an emergency basis,” the minister remarked.

He maintained that the current government does not make false promises nor were its commitments limited to the newspapers.

“In the past, the so-called nationalist and religious parties used to make tall claims but practically did not pay any heed to the issues of the people,” he said.

“Our priority is to work for the welfare of people, provide employment, and improve law and order situation in the province for which we are working day and night,” he added.
