Land limit for commercial buildings revised

Sargodha Commissioner Zafar Iqbal also took new decisions for the construction of schools, colleges, hospitals

SARGODHA: District Planning and Design Committee (DPDC) has revised minimum land limit for the establishment of commercial buildings of schools, colleges, hospitals and petrol pumps.

A total of 53 cases of commercial buildings were presented in the committee including 40 cases of schools and colleges, nine cases of hospitals and clinics, three cases of petrol pumps and one case of an auto workshop in different areas of the district.

Sargodha Commissioner Zafar Iqbal chaired the meeting which also took new decisions for the construction of schools, colleges and hospitals.

Under new decisions, sufficient lands should be available for the establishment of commercial buildings, after considering the population of rural and urban areas. The meeting decided that four kanal land was required for the construction of private Inter college buildings and five kanal for Degree college.
