K-P CM orders complete utilisation of development funds

Tells officials to identify priority projects so that finances are released

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has directed to ensure complete utilisation of Annual Development Fund intimating that delaying of developmental schemes will not be tolerated. The chief minister directed timely intimation, in case of failure to utilise developmental funds, so as to reallocate these funds for other Mega Projects well in time. He furthered that priority projects and those schemes which are due for completion may be ensured.

While chairing a review meeting of provincial including merged districts ADP at Cabinet Room Civil Secretariat Peshawar, the chief minister directed that mega projects, due for completion projects, and other priority projects of the provincial government should be identified so that 100% release of funds to these selected projects may be made and to ensure timely completion of these projects which will benefit people of the province largely. The chief minister also directed maximum utilisation of Foreign Project Assistance Funds, stating that the next review of the Annual Development Programme will be held after one month so as to evaluate the progress on developmental schemes.
