Kicking Off: Football academy in DG Khan

DG KHAN: The district football association (DFA) has urged the government to set up a football academy in DG Khan with qualified coaches to train players in the sport.  In a meeting held with DFA president Mohammad Ahmad Khan, officials observed that the football ground in DG Khan was in dire need of repair and decided to allocate funds for this purpose. The DFA also decided to hold a coaching camp at the Al-Ghazi Sports Centre to train young football players in time to hold a district football championship in DG Khan.
