The company so far has sold 3,50,000 handsets in Pakistan and currently have less than 5% market share in handsets of below $300 price range. The brand globally is more focused on selling their handsets through the online platform, with the addition of utilising different festivities when it comes to launching their handsets, Pakistani market, however, is operating on different dynamics.
“We have to spend on traditional retail markets in Pakistan, since there are a lot of issues when it comes to online markets”, Harvey said adding “like other countries we do involve certain events in Pakistan to launch our product, and we manage to boost our sales by three times in our Ramazan launch, however the scope is not that great”.
