ICCBS Director Prof Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry confirmed these details while presiding over a meeting of the symposium's organising committee held at the Dr Panjwani Centre on Friday.
Prof Chaudhry said that the conference aims to expand the understanding of the emerging field of molecular medicine and drug research in Pakistan. A major objective of the symposium is to bring together global experts of molecular medicine, he added.

According to Prof Chaudhry, the conference will open at 9am on Monday at the Prof Salimuzzaman Siddiqui Auditorium of the ICCBS. The event will feature poster presentations by young scholars, training sessions by experts on developing concepts of molecular medicines, as well as lectures by scientists from 35 different countries.
Speakers at the symposium include KU Vice Chancellor Dr Khalid Mehmood Iraqi, Prof Attaur Rehman, Dr Panjwani Memorial Trust Chairperson Nadira Panjwani, Husain Ebrahim Jamal Foundation Chairperson Aziz Latif Jamal, ICCBS Prof Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry, French scholar Dr Georges Massiot, Greek scientist Prof Ioannis P Gerothanassis, German scientist Prof Bertram Flehmig, and Symposium Coordinator Dr Asmat Salim, among others.
