Balochistan finance minister presides over first Finance Commission meeting

Balochistan cabinet had approved Financial Commission Meeting in its last meeting

QUETTA: Balochistan Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi presided over the 1st Finance Commission Meeting in Quetta and claimed that the government has been taking revolutionary steps for education in the province.

The provincial cabinet in its last meeting approved Balochistan Finance Commission to set formula regarding distribution of funds for province’s seven universities.

“Government has been providing adequate funds to all major educational institutions of Balochistan. The heads of provincial universities and colleges are responsible to utilise them with honesty and sincerity,” said Buledi while vowing to not tolerate any negligence towards education.

He asked the meeting’s participants to end ambiguity regarding distribution of funds for the varsities adding that major funds should be released
