“Development in rural areas remains our key priority hence measures are being taken to ensure the provision of quality education and health facilities in remote parts of the province,” said the CM while addressing a ceremony in the village.
He lamented the previous regimes’ attitude towards public issues, adding that development funds were subjected to favoritism in the past which caused delays in dozens of development schemes. “The incumbent government will complete all the pending schemes,” he vowed.
“The government is earnestly working for the infrastructural development at Kanraj. People of Balochistan’s remote villages are peaceful and hospitable,” said Kamal, adding that the 23km highway from Sahib Khan Goth would ease travelling.
The chief minister informed the audience that the construction of two new dams in Kanraj village would start in the upcoming days. He said being a representative of the people of Lasbela, he would ensure that the district becomes a model for the rest of Balochistan.
Promising to start recruitment on vacant posts, Kamal said the government is fully aware of the despondency among the province’s youth because of poverty and unemployment.

“I have brought ministers for communications and works and livestock to take immediate actions over the issues pestering the people of rural areas,” the CM said as he announced the development of a girls’ school and upgrading of boys high school in the village.
He stressed upon provincial ministers and secretaries to visit all the districts in Balochistan to hear public concerns and implement measures to resolve them.
District administration, tribal elders and people of Kanraj village welcomed the chief minister and the provincial ministers Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani and Mitha Khan Kakar on the visit.
Earlier, Balochistan CM approved Eastern Bypass project worth Rs148.7 million for Industrial City Hub which would provide an alternative route to Industrial Zone Hub Traffic to ease traffic problems in the area.
This was said by Xen of Communication and Works (C&W) Department Lasbela, Behram Gachki in a briefing, adding that the government of Balochistan has approved the project for linking Industrial City Hub to Sakran with Regional Cooperation for Development (RCD) Highway to National Highway-25 (N-25 ) on priority basis, said press release issued here.
He said several projects for the development of Lasbela district, its Industrial Zone Hub areas and Eastern Bypass Plan were approved by Chief Minister Jam Kamal for ensuring growth in these areas, saying the Industrial City of Balochistan has become a symbol of manufacturing development.
Behram Gichki mentioned work orders have also been issued for implementation of the project and construction work would commence soon for the welfare of the public. (with additional input from APP)
