The Health Department will immediately start looking for doctors, nurses and paramedics to fill the vacancies in public sector hospitals, Health Secretary Jehanzeb Khan said on Tuesday. He said that walk-in interviews would be held on the first and third Thursday of every month at district headquarters hospitals for the recruitment of specialists, medical officers, women’s health officers, nurses and lady health visitors (LHVs). A spokesman asked applicants to contact the office of their nearest EDO (health).
