PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai on Friday said that he has forgiven those involved in the Chakesar incident and those who had planned a protest during a recent visit to his native Shangla district.

He said the march announced by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman betrayed his political frustration.

Addressing a news conference at the Information Cell in the Peshawar Civil Secretariat on Peshawar, Yousafzai claimed that the opposition has decided to open a front against parliamentary politics in the country.

He went on to assert that Rehman can barely muster 15,000 people for a long march let alone their claims of gathering a massive crowd of 1.5 million people to march on to the federal capital.
