The only pathologist from the DHQ Hospital, two consultant doctors, a dermatologist and a consultant surgeon have been transferred to THQ Hospital Taunsa Sharif from DHQ Muzaffargarh. Whereas from Layyah three doctors have been transferred. An anaesthetist from Jampur DHQ Hospital Rajanpur was also transferred to THQ Taunsa.
People in Bhakkar complained that they have been left without basic health facilities owing to these sudden transfers. They said the transfers have deprived the people of their very basic right.
