“The BNP-M never compromised on the rights of the province because our roots are attached with the people of Balochistan. We will continue our struggle in the public interest,” Mengal said while meeting the son of slain BNP-M leader Nawab Amanullah Zehri in Khuzdar on Monday.
Mengal discussed political and tribal affairs with Mir Shahzad Zehri at his residence where he also met the BNP-M workers.
“We have been pursuing our political mission to give Balochistan its rights, therefore the BNP-M would never step back from its stance on the province’s issue,” he affirmed.
“Instead of personal gains, we have been leading the Baloch nation on provincial and national level,” Mengal continued. “Nothing is more important for me than seeing a missing Baloch return back to his home,” he said.
Paying homage to slain Nawab Amanullah Zehri he said that despite rendering sacrifices for Balochistan, BNP-M’s political cause and struggle would continue.
Earlier, the BNP-M president also expressed reservations over “slow implementation” on his six-point demands during the last one year and warned to part ways with the federal government.
