In just one day, the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William are set to embark on their first official tour of Pakistan.

Preparations are in full swing for the Royal duo to touch down in the country, including some colourful and vivacious rickshaws. On the roads of Rawalpindi and Lahore, locals want Kate and William to experience the full desi cultural experience Pakistani style.

The UK in Pakistan Twitter account shared a video with the hashtag #RoyalVisitPakistan, depicting bright paints and men creating a work of art on the vehicles. This includes the flag of Britain and the flag of Pakistan side by side displayed on the beautifully decorated rickshaw.

Peacocks, intricate patterns and a myriad of designs were intricately painted onto the rickshaw, which displayed Royal Visit Pakistan on the back. The lovingly crafted South Asian vehicle is just one many experiences people are eagerly awaiting William and Kate to enjoy, as well as new tastes and sights.

During an engagement at the Aga Khan Center in London, William and Kate Middleton recently met with prominent British-Pakistani figures, including 2017 MasterChef winner, Dr. Saliha Mahmood Ahmed.

On the topic of Pakistani food, Prince William shared some insight into his relationship with spicy eats. “Love[d] spice, but not heat. “Me and heat, not so good,” the father-of-three noted.

Meanwhile, it doesn’t sound like Kate has any issue with spiciness. “It’s so hard cooking curry in the family. The children have a portion with no spice, yours is medium,” the duchess said to William. “And I quite like it hot.”

It sounds like the couple's only daughter, 4-year-old Princess Charlotte, takes after her mom as Kate said she is “pretty good” with heat.
