The additional deputy commissioner said quacks were the enemy of the humanity and they could not be forgiven. He directed the drug inspectors to seal medical stores that were operating without drug sales licenses and file lawsuits against the owners. “The sale of medical drugs is a service to humanity. It should not be authorised to raise capital only,” he said. “Do not neglect the institutions in fulfilling their responsibilities against these social enemies and back up to them,” he said.
