A painting competition, titled “Heritage and Culture”, will be held on October 26 at Lahore Fort by Adorn in collaboration with the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA). According to the announcement, the competition will be followed by a mega musical concert. The competition has been divided into two categories, professionals and amateurs, while there is no fee for entering and participating. Cash prizes, shields and certificates will be handed out to the top three entries in both categories. Organisers have invited students from all educational institutions to participate in the competition. Pakistan’s cultural heritage includes archaeological sites, forts, shrines, tombs, buildings, residences, monuments and places of worship.
