Punjab Inspector General of Police applaud the efforts of the police team that managed to recover a kidnapped minor

Punjab Inspector General of Police Arif Nawaz Khan applauded the efforts of the police team that managed to recover a kidnapped minor. Reportedly, a call to the police helpline in Toba Tek Singh reported three-year-old Muhammad Hassan missing. Officials rushed to the scene to begin a search operation. Toba Tek Singh DPO Waqar Qureshi formed a special team to safely recover the child. After gathering information, the team arrested Hammad Siddique. While being interrogated, the accused revealed that had sent a marriage proposal for the child’s paternal aunt. However, the family had rejected the proposal. In order to get revenge, the accused abducted the child and tortured him, before tossing his unconscious body in the sugarcane field, at a distance of almost four kilometres from the city. On the information obtained from the suspect, officials conducted a search operation and after six hours managed to find the child.
