Desolate sports grounds are being revamped

QUETTA: Balochistan Adviser to Chief Minister for Sports, Culture and Tourism Abdul Khaliq Hazara has said that the provincial government is utilizing all available resources for the development of the Sports Department and claimed that desolate sports grounds are being filled with people across the province.

“Unfortunately, previous governments neglected the sports sector which adversely affected sports activities. The current government, however, is constructing sports complexes in all districts of Balochistan to foster sports in the province”, Khaliq Hazara said on Monday while addressing a news conference.

He also expressed optimism that Balochistan’s athletes would perform well at the upcoming 33rd National Games, adding sports was the only way to eliminate the drug culture from our society.
