RAWALPINDI: The case of the couple who kidnapped girls and made their obscene videos has been sent back to the police. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime Wing has returned the case of the couple which recorded obscene videos of female students to City Police. Cybercrime wing maintained that the case does not fall in their domain after which it has been referred back to the police station. Earlier, City police station had arrested the suspects, Qasim Jahangir and his wife Kiran, and recovered data of obscene videos and photos from them. However, after 45 days of investigation, the case along with all evidence was referred to FIA Cybercrime Wing due to its nature. However, the federal agency appeared before Civil Judge Rizwan Hanif Sheikh and informed the court that the case did not fall in the jurisdiction of Cybercrime Wing and returned the file. At this, the court sent the case back to Civil Judge Sameera Alamgir who adjourned the case until October 5. Judge Sameera has summoned the investigation officer and SHO of City Police Station in the next hearing.
