Sindh AIG to review officials’ performance
Investigation SSPs will be asked to brief about actions taken with regards to the investigation of registered cases

Taking notice of a rise in the number of robbery and snatching incidents, Karachi Police Chief Ghulam Nabi Memon has called a meeting at his office on October 6 to review the performance of police officials. In the meeting, police officials will be asked to provide details about robbery and snatching incidents that occurred between May and September this year, and during which citizens were murdered or injured. Moreover, investigation SSPs will be asked to brief about actions taken with regards to the investigation of the registered cases. Letters, summoning officials to the meeting, have been issued to all zonal DIGs, CIA DIG, all investigation SSPs and other officers. In the letters, all zonal DIGs, investigation SSPs and SDOPs have been directed to ensure their presence at the meeting. According to police sources, it is likely that in the meeting, the police chief will order strict action against officials for poor performance.
