PESHAWAR: The provincial government has decided to change the portfolio of few ministers over their performances in the coming weeks and soon the names would be finalised after the yearly performance review of the ministers.

Ministers were warned first, said Information Minister Shaukat Ali Yousafzai. They were even issued show-cause notices for non-deliverance in their ministries, he said talking to the media. “Names will be made public soon,” he said replying to questions by newsmen.

The performance reports of ministers have been shared with the PM office and the result will be out in weeks, he said.

Replying to question about the BRT project, the provincial information minister said additional burden was due to Rs29 billion worth of extra work on the project.

“We are trying to complete the project by the end of this year,” Yousufzai said and added that few trade unions were trying to delay the project, but infrastructure has been completed.
