ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmad Shah has asked Members of the National Assembly Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir to resolve issues and address the concerns of the tribal people.

Speaking at the National Assembly, Shah urged the MNAs from Waziristan to discuss challenges and issues faced by the people of tribal areas with the government.

Shah also shed light on the history of conspiracies Pakistan had fallen victim to and said Prime Minister Imran Khan was personally taking interest in the newly-merged tribal districts.

Newly elected: South Waziristan’s new lawmaker comes with a wish list

He said new development projects were being launched and the districts would be ushered into an era of development and prosperity.

Earlier this month, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s newest lawmaker, Anita Mehsud from South Waziristan stepped in with a long wish list for her newly merged constituency.

Mehsud committed to serving the people of her native land and said education would be her top priority.
