National Games boxing trials today

Trials will be open for all boxing clubs while locals would be allowed to test themselves in any weight category

ISLAMABAD: The open trials for selection of Islamabad boxing team for 30th National Games would be start at Sports Complex on Tuesday.

The trials will be open for all boxing clubs of Islamabad while the locals would be allowed to test themselves in any weight category.

In this regard, the President Islamabad Boxing Association (IBA) Arshad Butt said that purpose behind open trials was to prepare the best possible team with best talent.

He added that the players could participate in trials by showing their national identity card or certificate from educational institutions.

Butt said that the final team would be announced on October 2 while four-day training camp would be begin after a week from the day.
