Bilour calls PTI govt ‘incompetent’

Says no future for economy, business in Pakistan if Imran continues as Pakistan's chief executive for one more year

PESHAWAR: The Businessman Forum Leader and member of the Senate, Senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour has said the incumbent government has destroyed the economy of the country.

Addressing the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Monday in Peshawar, Senator Bilour alleged that the present PTI regime’s ‘record financial blunders’ have pushed the country’s economy to the brink of bankruptcy.

The country’s leading businessman claimed that large units of Indus Motors, Honda Motors, and Suzuki Motors have been closed in the country that has rendered many industrial workers jobless.

He said that if an incompetent politician, like Imran Niazi continues as the country’s chief executive for one more year then there will no economy and businesses.

Senator Ilyas Bilour criticised that PTI-led government had miserably failed on both internal and external fronts. He said that people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had re-elected PTI to rule again in the province with high hopes that they will be plenty of job opportunities available, but Imran Niazi and company had put the country’s economy at stake because incumbent rulers are lacking the acumen to run affairs of the country.

Businessman forum leader while quoting the statement of finance minister regarding rising export and decreasing import by 50 per cent and said when industries and businesses are shutting down in the country then the production will be automatically declined.
