Police reunites missing 15-year-old with family

Young man kidnapped from his home, robbed of Rs5 million

RAWALPINDI/ ISLAMABAD: Noon Police found a 15-year-old student who went missing on Saturday.

Hashim Khan informed the police that his son was missing after which the police registered a case and began the search for the victim.

During the searching operation, Noon Police gathered information from the victim’s relatives and acquaintances and then traced him using the latest technology.

As per the initial investigation, the victim was in contact with his mother and had run away from home as he did not want to acquire an education. He was not kidnapped and left his home of his own personal will.  The police handed over the victim to the family after legal formalities.

Youth kidnapped

A young man was kidnapped by three armed suspects who fled after stealing Rs5 million and other valuables from the victim.

Ikram Ullah told Airport Police that he was at his house when three armed suspects including Fareed, Kamran and Raja Shahid broke into his house and kidnapped him. The suspects took the victim to a remote house where their female accomplice tied his hands and feet and then demanded Rs5 million from his family. The suspects assaulted the victim and also snatched his mobile and fled after receiving amount.

The police have registered a case against the suspects and started the investigation.

Domestic dispute

Two people were killed while two others injured in a firing incident occurred at a house located in Pindi Bhattian on Saturday.

According to police, a domestic dispute claimed two lives on the spot while leaving two injured. The bodies and the injured were shifted to a local hospital, a private news channel reported.

They said condition of the injured were stated to be stable, adding, police lodged a First Investigation Report (FIR) and started investigation
