
The minister along with the TB Control Programme Director Dr Ahmed Wali briefed media about the measures for timely treatment of the TB. “Health department has installed modern machinery in camps capable to screen and provide reports of the disease within two hours,” Marri said.
The minister said the government of Balochistan has been utilizing all resources in order to control the TB in the province.

Lauding the initiative of the provincial programme, Marri directed Wali to establish more camps across Balochistan to facilitate people.
“The government has set up a three-day free medical camp in Khuzdar to facilitate poor patients hailing from remote areas in getting screening of the TB,” the minister said briefing about free medical camps in the past.
Asking people to get timely treatment of the TB, Wali briefed media that the TB is curable and can be eradicated through timely treatment therefore people should visit the camps established across the province.
