ISLAMABAD: National Commission on Women (NCW), the attached department of the Ministry of Women Development (MoWD), will continue functioning under the Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR) after devolution. According to the proposals devised by the implementation commission, the MoWD department, which previously represented Pakistan at all international and bilateral levels on all gender related issues, has been assigned to the MoHR. All other subjects of the ministry have been devolved including matters relating to the formulation of public policies and laws.
